1. North Bark Dog Park
This is undoubtedly one of the best dog parks in Dallas consisting of 22 acres of doggy heaven! There is everything for a great day out with your much-loved pooch. It has fantastic trail walks, a swale area, and a dog pond for swimming with its own dog beach. It also has a large grassy area where your pooch can roll around to dry off afterward.
There are separate fenced-in areas for large and small dogs. There is even a doggy shower in case your little beast has got super dirty so he/she can return home nice and clean. Beware of cyclists in the trail paths and please be sure to pick up your pooch’s poop!

2. Wagging Tail Dog Park
Wagging Tail Dog Park is a really lovely, well-kept space for your pet pooch to enjoy a great day out. Situated just north-west of Preston Road, it is a 7-acre park allowing lots of off-leash exercise for large and small dogs alike. It has a wonderful and wide walking trail with amazing views of White Rock Creek and a pretty waterfall. There is a fab viewing deck where you can take in the great views of the park and creek. They provide drinking fountains for both you and your furry friend to enjoy and the park even boasts a solar-powered sprinkler system.

3. White Rock Lake Dog Park
White Rock Lake Dog Park is another great dog park situated at the north end of White Rock Creek. This 3-acre park has great views of Dallas’ largest lake with wonderful access to the water for a good doggy swim. It has wonderful grassy areas, which are closed following heavy rains to protect them from damage. There is a big dog area and a separate small dog area, both of which are fenced-in. Being the first dog park in Dallas, it has well-equipped dog comfort stations where you can wash your dog, water fountains, shade canopies, a pavilion, and an info kiosk.

4. Klyde Warren Park
Situated in Downtown Dallas, Klyde Warren Park is a fabulous place to take your dog for their daily exercise, or as a special treat. Head for the My Best Friend’s Park area on the East Lawn with your canine companion for some off-leash fun on the grass, or a splash in the lovely fountain when it gets hot, hot, hot! It consists of a fenced space with food trucks on one side, plenty of benches, and lots of walking paths.

5. Mutts Canine Cantina
This is a members-only park that has a great eatery where you can chill out and keep an eye on your precious pooch playing in the dog area. You can purchase a daily pass if you are just visiting, or a monthly or yearly pass if staying longer. There is a great menu for both you and your dog to get a tasty treat, and they have a separate small dog park for dogs under 30lbs and another for large dogs over 30lbs. They will even do birthday parties for your furry birthday baby!

6. Bark Park Central
Situated in the downtown neighborhood of Deep Ellum, under the Good-Latimer Expressway, Bark Park Central is a great 1.2-acre dog park. It has a cool selection of canine street art for you to enjoy whilst your dog has some off-leash fun on the grass. Water bowls and doggy showers are provided along with plenty of shady places for you both to chill out on those super-hot days. A great location if you want to grab yourself some lunch at one of the many dog-friendly restaurants in the area afterward.

7. Main Street Garden
Centrally located in Downtown Dallas, Main Street Garden has an enclosed urban dog run of just under 2-acres for your dogs to enjoy. The dog run is concrete based which allows for easy poop removal. Shady seating areas and drinking water are provided within the dog run area so you can relax whilst your dog gets to grips with the agility equipment provided for some extra exercise. The rest of the park is a beautiful green space to walk around, but dogs must be kept on leashes once outside of the dog run area.

8. Griggs Park
This is a wonderful 7.5-acre park situated in the Uptown area of Dallas. Griggs Park offers a lovely spacious and well-kept expanse of grass, with lots of space to give your dogs a good run and play with a ball. It offers great picnic areas as well as some nice peaceful, shady spots under trees for relaxing with your poochy bestie after some serious playtime. This park was opened in 1915 making it one of the oldest in the area. It has fabulous views of the Dallas skyline and plenty of doggy water fountains as well as poop bags.

9. Meadows Foundation Dog Park AKA Swiss ; Liberty Dog Park
This pretty park is situated in the Deep Ellum neighborhood and is a wonderfully lush, green fenced-in park. With lots of leafy, shady trees and a pretty picket fence around the perimeter, it makes a lovely spot to enjoy some off-leash fun and also to relax under a tree on those hotter days. There are no water facilities so be sure to take your own. There is a hill at one end so you can wear out your pooch by getting them to chase after their favorite toy up and down the hill whilst you take it nice and easy.

10. Central Dog Park at Central Christian Church
This lovely space is located on the property of the Central Christian Church. It has lots of fun features for you and your dog including doggy splash pools, a separate small dog area, and drinking water. Poop bags are provided and there are plenty of benches to relax on, plus they even have fans to keep you cool! A very pretty, well looked-after and relaxing space to while away the hours with your best friend, and arguably another one of the best dog parks in Dallas.
